Plėvelės rezistoriaus techninis pagrindas.
Kuo skiriasi storosios plėvelės rezistorius ir plonos plėvelės rezistorius.
Plonos plėvelės ir storos plėvelės rezistoriai yra labiausiai paplitę tipai rinkoje. Jiems būdingas atsparumo sluoksnis ant keramikos pagrindo. Nors jie gali atrodyti labai panašūs, jų savybės ir gamybos procesai yra gana skirtingi. Pavadinimas kilęs iš skirtingų sluoksnių storių. Plėvelės storis yra apie 0.1 mikrono arba mažesnis, o storos plėvelės storis - apie tūkstančius kartų. Tačiau pagrindinis skirtumas yra atsparumo plėvelės padengimo pagrindu metodas. Plėvelės rezistorius turi metalinę plėvelę, kuri vakuume nusėda ant izoliacinio pagrindo. Storas plėvelės rezistorius gaminamas ant pagrindo kepant specialią pastą. Pasta yra stiklo ir metalo oksidų mišinys. Plėvelė yra tikslesnė, temperatūros koeficientas yra geresnis ir stabilesnis, todėl gali konkuruoti su kitomis didelio tikslumo technologijomis, tokiomis kaip vielos vyniojimas ar blokinė metalinė folija.
